Mindfulness and Yoga workshop (& some form of art expression for Kids)
Let's raise yogis! they are our future. Mindfulness is taking notice of how your body feels and what you see, smell and taste. Maybe you even feel emotions in your body, perhaps through a tightness somewhere, or a good sensation. Mindfulness is also noticing what your mind is doing. Hereare some ofthe good things mindfulness can bring to your children's life:
Mindfulness helps us create space between the emotions we have and the actions we use to respond to them.
Mindfulness helps us focus.
Mindfulness can make us feel better emotionally and physically.
Yoga for beginners Explore the basic asanas of yoga. Set a foundation for your practice.
Yoga Intensive for beginners Creating a safe place for your body mind and soul. Make the Yoga practice work for you. Not against you. Making the Yoga practice a healing tool.
Vinyasa Flow Flow Vinyasa : "breath-synchronized movement" . We combine breath with movement on the mat. You will move you through the power of your breath!
Yin Yoga This practice consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer.
Aerial Yoga Yoga asanas suspended in soft fabric hammocks. Deepens your postures standing and seated, unwinds fascial knots, builds core-strength, and gives you that extra support you need to practice inversions. Take your practice off the mat into the air.
Blueprint of Yoga postures Workshop based class where yoga asanas (postures) are explored from their foundation, body position & alignment, creating a Blueprint in our body and minds to then physically transfer them on to the mat. It is the perfect place to begin your yoga practice, if you are a beginner or have no yoga experience. For advanced practitioners this is a great place to explore and check your blueprint!! Exploring standing, seated, and inversions (without inverting!) all on the floor.Towards the end of the class all the explored asanas will be transferred to a final vinyasa flow.
The Flip Side Learning how to be comfortable upside down. With the correct foundation, good alignment and body awareness, being on the flip side will shift your mood! An inversion involves all the poses where your head is lower than your hips, like down dog, forward fold...all the way to headstand. Inversions are a wonderful tool to reset the endocrine system.
